Kids' Camp
Good Cook

During this one week camp you will learn the basics of throwing on a potter’s wheel, as well as sculpture and hand building techniques. The camp hours are from 9am to 4pm. Each day includes 2 different 3 hour workshops; throwing and hand building.

On your own potter’s wheel with Robin is where you will learn to make bowls, plates and mugs and how to decorate them.

During the sculpture/hand building workshop with Robert, you will learn to craft things with clay using your hands and various sculpture tools to add textures and designs to your work.

The camp is limited to 10 students, ages 8 and up, with 5 in each group. You will be able to glaze and finish your pieces but will have to come back in a few weeks to pick them up, after they have been fired in the kiln.
